This paper explores the use of animal metaphors in Business English Articles by analyzing their syntactic and semantic features. Adopting both a qualitative and quantitative approach, I examine 100 instances of animal metaphors found in finance articles, economic newspapers, and online sources. Our research aims to uncover the underlying meanings and forms of these metaphors, shedding light on how they are used to convey complex business concepts and practices. I demonstrate that animal metaphors are pervasive in Business English discourse, with diverse applications across a range of fields and industries. Furthermore, we argue that understanding the implications of these metaphors can provide valuable insights into the ways that business professionals conceptualize and communicate about their work. Overall, this study contributes to our understanding of the role that language plays in shaping business culture and highlights the importance of effective communication strategies for success in today's global marketplace.en_US
