Abstract

Presentation skill is one of the essential proficiencies needed for higher education and future careers. Excellent presentations will be impressive, elevate your status, and get you the respect and admiration of others. Especially in education, the environment at university always creates opportunities for students to practice this skill in the learning process. However, second-year students get troubles when giving the presentation. Therefore, this study focuses on analyzing the difficulties often encountered in presentation skills of second-year students, faculty of English, University of Foreign Language Studies - the University of Da Nang. Furthermore, a number of solutions are proposed to assist students in overcoming difficulties while giving presentations and improving their skills.
