dc.description.abstractThis study aims to investigate the application of communicative activities in improving tenth graders’ speaking skills. It looks at the application of communicative activities that can develop students’ fluency and accuracy in the speaking class, which is hoped to enhance student communicative language competence. The study also seeks students’ perceived benefits and challenges during the learning and teaching process when communicative activities are implemented. From that base, the findings of the study are expected to make some contributions to the application of communicative activities in teaching speaking skill to student and develop their speaking ability-
