Abstract: The purpose of this study was to look into the effectiveness of the Spaced Repetition method for learning vocabulary among second-year English students at the UFLS - UD. The study focused on the students' use of the Spaced Repetition method and its impact on their vocabulary learning outcomes. A mixed-method approach involving surveys and interviews was used. We used both qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze a total of 100 participants who were chosen using a convenience sampling technique. Surveys were distributed to gather information about students' use of the Spaced Repetition method and their perceptions of its effectiveness. A subset of students was interviewed to gain more detailed insights into how they used the method. The findings revealed that the majority of students used the Spaced Repetition method frequently and found it to be effective in learning vocabulary, particularly when based on frequency of use. Furthermore, the interviews revealed how students integrated the method into their study routines and the benefits they gained from using it. These findings have implications for both language teachers and students looking to expand their vocabulary. Finally, limitations and recommendations for future research were included in the final section of the paper.
