Abstract: The study aims at examining the use of Semantic Mapping to improve pre-intermediate EFL students’ reading comprehension. The study also seeks to explore the benefits and challenges associated withthe implementation of Semantic Mapping Strategy in learning and teaching process from students' perspectives, thereby suggesting some ways to improve the quality of teaching and learning English reading comprehension for EFL learners.
